Patricia Uhlig Named New Head of Communications at Lupus alpha

Frankfurt-based asset manager Lupus alpha is expanding its communications team: At the beginning of April, Patricia Uhlig took over as head of the Communications department and will also serve as the company’s press spokesperson in this role. She succeeds Pia Kater, who left Lupus alpha at the end of 2025 after 17 years with the firm.

Before joining Lupus alpha, Patricia Uhlig worked for four years in corporate communications at DekaBank, most recently as deputy head of the press office. A business administration graduate (BA) and certified journalist, she began her career in business and financial journalism. From 2005 to 2022, she worked at the Thomson Reuters news agency in Frankfurt, where she was primarily responsible for banking coverage.

“We are very pleased to have recruited Patricia Uhlig for Lupus alpha,” says Ralf Lochmüller, founding partner and CEO of Lupus alpha. “As an experienced communications specialist with a background in financial journalism, she is ideally qualified to support Lupus alpha on its continued growth trajectory.”
